Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and the person who runs Quant-Assist ("we"). By creating an account or using the app you accept them.

What Quant-Assist is

Quant-Assist is a Windows desktop application for managing alpha research. It runs on your PC and keeps your research data there. It is an independent tool and is not made, endorsed or supported by any platform you connect it to. You are responsible for following the rules of every platform and data provider you use it with.

Your account and your PC

• One account per person. Keep your password to yourself.
• An account's plan runs on one PC at a time. You may move it to another PC by removing the old one; changing PCs too often is limited.
• Sharing an account, or trying to get around the plan or device checks (for example by editing the app, copying licence files or faking your clock), is not allowed and may end your access without a refund.

Plans and payment

Plans are paid in Kenyan shillings by M-Pesa and are not renewed automatically: you pay again when you want more time. The test week is a one-time offer for new customers. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change for future purchases, never for time you have already paid for. See the refund policy.

Using the app offline

After the app last confirmed your plan online it keeps working for up to 72 hours without a connection. After that it needs to connect once.

No financial advice, no guarantees

Quant-Assist is a software tool. Nothing in it or on this site is financial, investment or professional advice, and we do not promise any research result, ranking or income. You decide what to simulate and submit, and you carry the outcome.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service running but cannot promise it will always be available. We may change or end features, and we will not charge you for a period in which the service was not provided to you through our own fault.

Our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss, lost profits or lost data, and our total responsibility for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the three months before it. Back up the folders you care about; your research data lives on your PC.

Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time and delete your account from your account page. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these terms.
